Tracking clicks and opens

By default, Waypoint tracks clicks and opens on every email, so you can see interaction data per message.

How we track clicks and opens

For opens, Waypoint embeds a 1x1 transparent pixel in each message that fires every time the email is opened.

For clicks, Waypoint rewrites every link to route through a proxy URL that records the click before redirecting to the destination.

Configuration options

You can turn click and open tracking on or off from the ‘Tracking’ section of your workspace settings page.
